By-elections for 13 assembly seats in seven states of the country today on Wednesday! Who has the upper hand?

ELECTION NEWS - By-elections are being held today (Wednesday) for 13 assembly seats in seven states of the country. In this by-election, votes are being cast for 13 assembly seats of Uttarakhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. Voting will start at seven in the morning. Which will continue till 6 pm. West Bengal has the maximum number of seats in this by-election. Where votes are being cast for four assembly seats. Apart from this, voting is being held on three seats of Himachal Pradesh and two seats of Uttarakhand. Whereas votes are also being cast on one seat each in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Tamil Nadu. Let us tell you that elections are being held for the first time in the country after the Lok Sabha elections. In this election, many stalwarts including Kamlesh Thakur, wife of Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, are in the electoral fray.
Let us tell you that after the Lok Sabha elections, voting is taking place for the first time in any state of the country today. Notification for this election was issued on June 14. Whereas June 21 was the last date for filing nominations. The nominations were scrutinized on June 24. Whereas June 26 was the date for withdrawal of nominations. The results of the by-election will come on July 13. According to the Election Commission, the by-election process has to be completed before July 15.
