UP elections in 2027: The political battle is heating up between the BJP and the SP-BSP alliance.

Lucknow. The Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections are scheduled for 2027. There are still six months left for the elections, but the BJP, the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party have started putting the organisation in election mode. On Monday, the three major parties held separate important meetings in the capital Lucknow, in which everything from booth management to voter list and election strategy was discussed.
The BJP has chalked out a strategy to reach out to people.
The BJP's state-level 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' workshop was held at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow. In the presence of about 700 office bearers, the strategy to strengthen the organization up to the booth level and to take the achievements of the government to the public was discussed. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, state BJP president Swatantra Dev Singh, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma and many other senior party leaders were present on the occasion.
The meeting also discussed the future course of action on the political front. The special focus of the BJP was to take the proposed 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' to the doorstep on the occasion of 25 years of PM Modi's public life.
SP focuses on voter list and booth network

BSP gives election task to 75 district presidents
The Bahujan Samaj Party also held a meeting with all 75 district presidents of the state in Lucknow and took stock of the election preparations. Discussions were held on expanding the organisation, strengthening the economic condition, increasing the mass base and activating the party up to the booth level.
The meeting also deliberated on the possible candidates and feedback from the ground level. Hitting out at the Yogi government and Akhilesh Yadav over the announcement of cash schemes for women, Mayawati alleged that attempts are made to lure women by distributing 'rewari' at the time of elections and later the public gets cheated.
'Mission 2027 'launched six months ago
One thing is clear from Monday's meetings of the three parties - The political battle in UP is no longer just waiting for the election date to be announced. While the BJP is preparing the ground with the help of the work of the government and the strength of the organization, the SP is engaged in sharpening the voter list and booth network. On the other hand, the BSP is trying to strengthen its organisation and lost base.
The election of 2027 is still far away, but its countdown has started in UP. In the coming months, the preparations on all three fronts - organisation, voters and booths - will decide which party is able to prepare a strong ground in the electoral contest.
