A 26-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped in a moving car in Haryana's Faridabad. The matter is such that your soul will tremble on hearing it. The victim was allegedly held captive by the accused for 2 hours, raped and later dumped on the roadside. At around 5 am on December 30, the victim was admitted to Prayag Super Speciality Hospital in Faridabad, where she is undergoing treatment in the ICU. Doctors are planning to perform surgery.
Dr Amit and Dr Soumya, who are treating the victim at the hospital, said the woman was brought to the hospital immediately after the rape. According to Dr Soumya, the victim has severe injuries on her right shoulder and eye. A bone fracture around the eye was confirmed. The victim suffered multiple fractures and multiple injury marks. The doctors have done the MLC and the necessary samples have been sent for forensic examination. The report will be submitted to the police in a week's time. Dr Soumya told TT that no information can be shared about the bleeding in the victim's internal parts. However, it is clear that the woman has sustained serious injuries on her eye and shoulder, which point towards assault and violence. According to doctors, the patient's condition is stable and he is being closely monitored. The medical team is constantly monitoring his condition and necessary treatment is being given.
The victim's sister had first taken her to DK Hospital, from where she was shifted to Prayag Super Speciality Hospital at around 3 pm. Meanwhile, police were informed and a case was registered. The victim told the police that the accused stopped the car for two hours near the hilly area and took turns to gang-rape her. During this time, there was no help from the police. CCTV cameras installed near the incident spot are being checked, in which a white car is seen coming out. Police are now trying to identify and arrest the accused on the basis of this footage. According to the victim's statement, they were given a lift in the car, after which the accused drove around on the Faridabad-Gurugram road for about two hours.
