After the order for attachment of Himachal Bhawan, now order for attachment of Bikaner House also!

After the order to attach Himachal Bhawan located in Delhi, Patiala House Court has also ordered to attach Bikaner House. The court has issued this order for not following the arbitration agreement made between Rajasthan's Nokha Municipality and Enviro Infra Engineers Private Limited. The bench of Commercial Court Judge Vidya Prakash in Delhi's Patiala House Court gave this order. He said in his order that on January 21, 2020, after the dispute between Enviro Infra Engineers, the municipality was ordered to pay Rs 50,31,512 lakh. But despite this, the municipality did not pay the amount to the company. The next hearing in the case will be on November 29. The court has ordered the Nokha Municipality representative to appear in the court on that day. Earlier, the Himachal Pradesh High Court had issued an order to attach Himachal Bhawan located in Delhi. The order was issued after the Congress-led Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu government failed to pay electricity dues of about Rs 150 crore. The court asked the Principal Secretary of the Electricity Department to conduct a fact-check to identify the officials responsible for the negligence. Also instructed to do so. The court order came after the Sukhu government ignored previous orders to repay Rs 64 crore, which has now increased to around Rs 150 crore due to interest.
