Bombay High Court acquitted 12 accused who were sentenced to life imprisonment and death in the 2006 Mumbai local train blast case

The Bombay High Court has acquitted all the 12 accused in the 2006 Mumbai local train blasts case. Of these, 5 were sentenced earlier, while 7 were given life imprisonment. The High Court also acquitted the accused and ordered their release from jail. A division bench of Justice Anil Kilor and Justice Chandak said, "Whatever evidence was presented, there was no concrete fact. All the accused were acquitted on the basis of this evidence.
