Nawaz Sharif, the ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan has been arrested in Lahore. The London administration has declared Nawaz Sharif's son Hasan Nawaz as the defaulter of the year 2025. Bankruptcy proceedings can now be initiated against him from next month. Hassan is the nephew of Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. Hasan's sister is the chief minister of Pakistan's Punjab province. According to the London administration's gazette, Hasan Nawaz owes around 10 million pounds in income tax. 10 million pounds is about 1,12,13, 64,000 Indian rupees. Hasan is accused of deliberately not paying the tax amount. The process of auctioning Hasan's property will begin next month. According to media reports, Hasan's tax amount has been pending since 2015-16. Now the total amount including the fine on him has gone up to 10 million pounds.
