But as the time of farewell approached, the groom came to know the news of the bride's escape, after which he became unconscious. The incident took place in the Kotwali Nagar area of the city. On Tuesday night at the gate of the reception place here, the baraat was welcomed, the rituals were done and the marriage was completed. However, as soon as the time of farewell came on Wednesday morning, there was a stir. Pallavi, the bride who took seven rounds in the night, mysteriously passed away on Wednesday morning before the farewell. According to reports, Banshilal Gautam's daughter Pallavi was engaged to Sushil Gautam, a resident of Babaganj village in Ghungter police station area. The couple had a three-month-long relationship. The groom had mortgaged three bighas of land for the marriage. After this, he brought 90 baraatis from 11 vans. After the reception of the baraat on Tuesday night, the groom's side had no idea that the atmosphere of happiness would turn into mourning in a few moments. However, Swadesh searched for the bride but Pallavi was nowhere to be found in the house. There was a heated argument between the two sides after which they left the spot. When the groom and his family started creating a ruckus demanding compensation for the huge expenses incurred in the wedding, the Banki chowki in-charge reached the spot. Police said no formal complaint has been received so far.
