Massive frauds in Haryana to take advantage of BPL families! 6 thousand fake divorces came to light

A massive fraud has been unearthed in Haryana to take benefits meant for BPL families. Jhajjar Police has submitted the challan against the fraudsters in the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class. It is being told that about six thousand couples have shown less income in the family ID by filing fake divorce papers.
The police had uncovered the fraud on November 30, 2024. The district manager of Krida, Yogesh, had lodged a complaint with the police. In the complaint, it was alleged that the income was changed by tampering with the login. Investigations revealed that complainant Yogesh, along with associates Vikas and Amit, had made changes in the PPP. Police arrested the three. Two other accused, Geeta and Sikandar, were also named in the case. Police have arrested both of them. The five accused are currently in jail. The police revealed that 12 thousand family letters of the state have been changed. Jhajjar ADC Saloni Sharma said that people got the family divided in the PPP through fake documents. As a result, their income fell below the poverty line. According to the challan, he was separated from the family by forging divorce papers. The second member was then linked to another family identity card.
