"Rahul Gandhi launches a scathing attack on the Central Government over the education system, says—"Now is the time for a revolution in education."
Rahul Gandhi alleged that rampant corruption in the education system has given rise to a "paper leak mafia" that wastes years of hard work of lakhs of students preparing for competitive exams in an instant. He claimed that instead of taking strict action against the guilty vendors and officials involved in cases like paper leaks, they get the benefit of contracts and promotions, while the students have to pay the biggest price for it.
Former Congress president and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Monday launched a scathing attack on the central government over the country's education system. He alleged that the Modi government and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan were silent on the serious problems being faced by the education system instead of fixing accountability.
Ahead of the 'Students' Goonj 'event in Dehradun on July 17, Rahul Gandhi shared a detailed post on social media platform' X ', saying the students of the country today have started considering the education system as "corrupt, unjust, biased and dishonest." According to him, the system that was aimed at shaping the future of the youth is now pushing millions of families towards debt, mental stress and despair.

Hitting out at the central government and the Union Education Minister, he said the government was shying away from fixing accountability despite being fully aware of these problems. Rahul Gandhi also alleged that the mainstream media is also not raising enough voice on this serious issue.
Through the 'Students' Goonj 'campaign, Rahul Gandhi has been constantly raising the demand for paper leaks, alleged rigging in recruitment exams and reforms in the education system. The previous event of this campaign was held in Kota, Rajasthan, while the next event will be held in Dehradun on July 17.
At the end of his message, Rahul Gandhi appealed to the students and youth:
"It's too much... Now is the time for a revolution in education. On 17th July, in Dehradun, let us further amplify the 'Students "echo" and strengthen the fight for the future of students. "
