Sonam's revelation in Raja Raghuvanshi murder case: Husband was killed in just 18 minutes

The murder of businessman Raja Raghuvanshi in Indore has sent shockwaves across the country. The main accused in the case, Sonam Raghuvanshi, who is Raja's wife, and four other associates were arrested by the Meghalaya Police. Police claimed that Sonam had hatched the conspiracy to kill her husband, which began on May 23, 2025, during their honeymoon in Meghalaya's Sohra (Cherrapunji) area. Raja's body was recovered on June 2.

This process is important to clarify the manner and timing of the killing. Interrogation revealed that the murder was carried out in just 18 minutes. The police have also found chats and recordings of Sonam and co-accused Raj Kushwaha, which are evidence of conspiracy. While Sonam was arrested from Ghazipur, the other accused were nabbed from Indore and Ghazipur. All of them were produced before a Shillong court which sent them to 8-day police custody.
