STATE NEWS - Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was granted bail by the Supreme Court on Friday morning, 18 months after he was first arrested by the CBI in the alleged liquor policy case. In an important judgment of the court, Justices BR Gavai and KV Vishwanathan said that the Aam Aadmi Party leader deserves a "speedy trial" and sending him back to the trial court would be a "mockery of justice".
