West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee strongly protested about this incident. BSF allows Bangladeshi nationals to enter India

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee accused the BJP of inciting violence in the state. Mamata Banerjee has alleged that the Border Security Force (BSF) is allowing infiltration of Bangladesh nationals and committing atrocities on women to destabilise the state. Mamata Banerjee has called it a big nefarious plan of the central government. The assembly elections in West Bengal are scheduled to be held in 2026 and after this statement of CM Banerjee, the election can see a tough fight between both the TMC and the BJP. Mamata Banerjee's statement comes a week after Union Home Minister Amit Shah's statement.  
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, "The Border Security Force is allowing infiltration and committing atrocities on women in different areas of Bengal. The Trinamool Congress (TMC) does not protect the border. Protecting the border is not in the hands of the TMC. If anyone accuses the TMC of infiltration, I will tell them that it is the responsibility of the BSF."The Director General of Police (DGP) will be given orders to investigate and identify the areas from where the BSF is allowing infiltration. The police and the Centre have all the information. I will write a letter to the central government in this regard." On peace in West Bengal and Bangladesh, Banerjee said, "We have no enmity with them but goons are being allowed to enter the state. Those people commit crimes and go back after crossing the border and this is happening because of the BSF and the Centre is responsible for this.Banerjee warned that anyone trying to promote terror activities in Bengal will be opposed.
