He then reached his house, where he shot dead his 28-year-old sister Tulika alias Shiba. In the end, he committed suicide by shooting himself.
The incident reportedly took place within half-an-hour. Police are now investigating the reasons behind the horrific incident.

According to the information, around 12 noon, Manas called his wife Divya Mishra to meet her outside her office in Gomti Nagar. Divya was working as a relationship manager at ICICI Bank.
There was dispute between the two for some time. After this, Manas allegedly took out a pistol and shot Divya and fled the spot.
Hearing the sound of gunshots, the bank staff and people in the vicinity came out. He was rushed to a hospital in serious condition but the doctors declared him brought dead.

According to an eyewitness, Manas had two pistols in his hand. During the conversation, he suddenly took out both the weapons and opened fire. After the firing, when the bank employees started coming out, he also pointed a pistol towards them, after which the employees went back inside the bank in fear.
Another eyewitness said that Manas had reached the spot in an auto and fled in the same auto after committing the crime. There was no number plate on the back of the car.

After Divya's murder, Manas reached his rented house near Hussadiya intersection. According to locals, he reached home at around 12:30 pm and was very nervous and sweaty at that time.
Lavkush, who runs a fast food shop, said Manas went inside the house and locked the door of the room. A moment later there was the sound of a gunshot in the room.
When the police reached the spot, they found the bodies of Manas and his sister Tulika alias Shiba inside.

His status reportedly read that he hit his wife because she cheated on him. She further wrote about killing herself and her sister. Some other people were also informed about the incident.

According to the information, Manas and Divya were married about 12 years ago. The two didn't have children. It is being told that there was tension in their relationship for some time.
Divya had filed a petition in the court for divorce from her husband Manas about a year ago. After this, she was living separately and lived in Alambagh.
