Baba Ramdev gets a strong reprimand from the court! For his communal comment on Rooh Afza, the court said that Ramdev is not under anyone's control and lives in his own world.

The court had issued a stern warning to Ramdev's counsel and asked him to appear again to take instructions. Along with this, the court had ordered Ramdev to file an affidavit in which he had to give an undertaking that he would not issue any objectionable statement, advertisement or social media post against Hamdard in the future. The court had given a week's time for this and fixed the next hearing of the case on May 1.

Baba Ramdev gets a strong reprimand from the court! For his communal comment on Rooh Afza, the court said that Ramdev is not under anyone's control and lives in his own world.

The Delhi High Court has once again reprimanded Baba Ramdev for his communal remarks on Rooh Afza. The High Court on Thursday said that Ramdev is not under anyone's control and lives in his own world.

On April 3, Ramdev had made a controversial remark on Hamdard while promoting Patanjali's Gulab Sharbat. In a viral video, he had claimed that Hamdard builds mosques and madrassas with his earnings.

Using the term 'Sharbat Jihad', Ramdev said that drinking Hamdard's sharbat will build mosques and madrassas, while Patanjali's sharbat will promote gurukuls, acharyakulams and the Board of Education of India.

On a related petition, the high court was informed that despite the court's April 22 directions, Ramdev had released a video making objectionable statements.

Baba Ramdev has been granted bail by the Delhi High Court. The court said that Ramdev is not under anyone's control and lives in his own world. Hamdard's counsel said that after the court's order, Baba Ramdev released the new video, while the High Court had ordered him to remove the video.

Hamdard's lawyer said that Baba Ramdev does not respect the court's order. To this, Baba Ramdev's lawyer said, "We have removed the video which the court had ordered to be removed as per the court's order.

The high court then told Ramdev's counsel, "You said in your affidavit that you will not release any such video. "We have said in our affidavit that we are law-abiding people and respect all religions.

"You were held guilty of contempt by the Supreme Court," the Delhi High Court said. The High Court said that in view of our previous order, his affidavit and this video prima facie fall within the purview of contempt, now we will issue a contempt notice and we are calling him here.

Earlier on April 22, the Delhi High Court had severely reprimanded Patanjali founder Baba Ramdev for his communal remarks against the company and its popular drink 'Rooh Afza'.

Justice Amit Bansal, hearing the suit filed by Hamdard National Foundation India, termed Ramdev's statements as unpardonable. "It shakes the conscience of the court," he said.
