Bikaner / Jaipur The proposed Bikaner-Kotputli Greenfield Expressway can prove to be a big gamechanger for the people of Rajasthan. The proposed 295 km long expressway is expected to complete the journey from Bikaner to Kotputli in about three hours. At present, it takes about 6 to 7 hours for passengers to travel this distance.
However, the NHAI has not issued any official update on the proposed expressway. An official confirmation on the project's timeline and construction status is awaited.

The distance between Bikaner and Kotputli on the existing route is around 340 km. The journey may take more than 6 hours due to the road condition and the existing traffic. With the construction of the proposed greenfield expressway, the distance can be reduced to about 295 km.

The districts are Bikaner, Napasar, Sridungargarh, Ratangarh, Fatehpur Shekhawati, Mandawa, Jhunjhunu, Udaipurwati, Neem Ka Thana and Kotputli.
This can not only improve road connectivity between these regions but is also expected to give impetus to trade, tourism, transport and logistics.
