Protesters threw stones and damaged public property near the city's Clio County Society on Tuesday. Gautam Budh Nagar District Magistrate Medha Rupam has made an important statement on the issues related to workers. He informed that the decision to increase the wages of the workers has been approved by the government and thanked the Chief Minister for this. On the prevailing contractual practice in Noida, the DM said that this system is applicable in most of the companies, but if any worker is paid less than the fixed wage or his wage is deducted, then strict action will be taken against the concerned. At the same time, he appealed to all parties to maintain peace on the protest against the salary hike. The DM said the administration has issued a helpline number where workers can lodge their complaints and directly communicate with the administration. He assured that every problem of the workers will be heard and resolved. At the same time, he made it clear that the salary of the workers should reach their account by the 10th of every month. Bonuses will be paid in November, double overtime payments will be ensured and workers will also be given four holidays a month.
