Heartbreaking incident: Husband brutally murdered his wife with a hammer on suspicion of illicit relationship

A shocking incident came to light on Friday in Noida's Phase-1 police station area, in which a husband killed his wife. The incident was reported to the police through Dial 112, after which the police of Phase-1 police station reached the spot. The accused, Nurullah Haider (55), a resident of C-154, Sector 15, Noida, killed his wife Asma Khan (42) with a hammer on her head. The woman's son immediately called 112 and informed the police about the incident. On receiving information, police and forensic personnel reached the spot. Police immediately arrested the accused. According to the police, preliminary investigation revealed that the accused, Nurullah Haider, suspected his wife of having illicit relations. Due to this suspicion, he got angry and took this terrible step. The accused allegedly killed his wife by hitting her on the head with a hammer. The body of the deceased was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. Police said the situation in the area was peaceful and no untoward incident was reported. At present, the accused is being questioned by the police and other aspects related to the incident are also being thoroughly investigated. Police said the case is being investigated and legal action will be taken. Police said the exact reason behind the incident would be ascertained after thorough investigation.
