Maharashtra- Retired CRPF officer angry with love marriage, shot and killed his daughter!

A retired Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officer allegedly shot dead his daughter and critically injured his son-in-law in Maharashtra's Jalgaon district. A police official  gave this information. The incident took place on Saturday night during a wedding ceremony in Chopra tehsil, a Jalgaon police official said. "Kiran Mangle, 50, a retired CRPF sub-inspector, shot dead her daughter Tripti and seriously injured her husband Avinash Wagh with a revolver," he said. The couple got married a year ago and lived in Pune. They had come to attend a marriage. It is being told that the accused father was very angry with his daughter's love marriage, so he fired indiscriminately on his daughter and son-in-law with his revolver. The daughter died on the spot. "When Kiran Mangle reached the function, she came to know that the two were present there. After the firing, people in the vicinity caught hold of Mangle and beat him up. He has been admitted into hospital. A murder case has been registered against the man. However, it is yet to be ascertained why he attacked his daughter and son-in-law. Investigation of the case is continuing. "
