After two Dalit women from Telangana's Asifabad district were sold, the state government has announced the formation of a special cell for the prevention of women trafficking. The decision has been taken after an extensive human trafficking network was exposed. Of the nine accused in the case, six have been arrested so far. According to the police, a 22-year-old woman from Vadigondi village in Telangana's Asifabad district was missing for the past one year. The matter came to light when the Madhya Pradesh address and contact number were found during the updation of his Aadhaar card. Similarly, another 25-year-old woman under Asifabad district headquarters was also fraudulently sent to Madhya Pradesh. Shocking facts were revealed during the police investigation.
