PM Modi's nationwide GST celebration campaign begins!

The new GST rates have been implemented across the country from September 22, the first day of Navratri. Under this, the earlier two tax slabs have been removed. Along with this, many items have been changed in their tax slabs to make them cheaper. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called it "GST Savings Festival." He described this initiative as a double whammy for the common citizens of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also referred to the issue in his address to the nation. Along with this, he has also appealed to adopt indigenous goods. PM Modi has written a letter today, in which he has also mentioned these things. In the letter, PM Modi said, "My dear countrymen, Namaskar! Wishing you and your family a very Happy Navratri. I pray that this festival brings happiness and prosperity in everyone's life. This year we are getting another gift in the festivals. With the implementation of the Next Generation GST Reforms from September 22, the 'Big Savings Campaign' has started across the country. These concessions will benefit farmers, women, youth, poor, middle class, traders, small industries, cottage industries, everyone. "The new GST reforms are characterised by the fact that there will now be only two major tax slabs. Everyday essentials like food, medicines, soaps, toothpaste and many common items will now either be tax-free or fall in the lowest slab of 5%. It will now be easier to fulfill dreams like building a house, buying a car, eating out or vacationing with family. GST on health insurance has now been reduced to zero. I liked to see many shopkeepers and traders putting up 'before and now' boards to tell people how much a product has become cheaper. "
