Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024 introduced in Lok Sabha! India alliance parties including Congress, SP strongly protested

NEWS - Union Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju introduced the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024 in the Lok Sabha. This bill has been strongly opposed by the Indian alliance parties including Congress and SP. There was a huge uproar in the Lok Sabha regarding this bill. Congress MP KC Venugopal said that the Waqf Bill is against the basic sentiments of the Constitution.
