A girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself along with her lover at a hotel in Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi district. Police have recovered the two bodies. The incident took place at Tikamgarh bypass in Mauranipur. According to the information, Bali Manisha Ahirwar, a resident of village Sayawari, was having a love affair with Rahul Ahirwar, a resident of Tikamgarh in Madhya Pradesh. Both wanted to marry her. But he didn't agree.Despite the family's disapproval, Rahul and Manisha used to meet secretly. It is being told that both of them had booked a room in a hotel in Mauranipur yesterday. Manisha and Rahul stayed in the room for a long time. There was no movement from the room as it was very late, then the hotel staff peeped through the window and saw that their hands and feet were swollen because the young man and girl were hanging from the fan inside.
He informed the police immediately. When the police reached the spot, they broke open the door of the room and found the couple hanging from the ceiling fan. A forensic team also reached the spot. Team in-charge Sumit Kumar along with his team sealed the hotel room and collected evidence and the police took the two bodies in their possession and sent them for post-mortem. SP Rural Gopinath Soni said that the police had received information that the boy and the girl were hanging from a ceiling fan in room number 206 of Kamta Guest House in Mauranipur. On this information, the police reached the spot. Following this, the girl's relatives reported the matter to police.
