4 new semiconductor projects to be started in Orissa, Punjab, and Andhra Pradesh! Phase 1B of Lucknow Metro approved

The key decisions were taken in a meeting of the Cabinet presided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Cabinet approves setting up of 4 new Semiconductor Projects in Orissa, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh. A total of Rs 4594 crore will be spent for this. Phase 1B of Lucknow Metro has been approved, for which Rs 5801 crore has been approved. The Tatoo-II Hydroelectric Project has been approved for 700 MW at a cost of Rs 8146 crore.
"Four new semiconductor projects have been approved. Six such projects have already been sanctioned and four new projects have been added today. These are in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Punjab with an investment of Rs 4,594 crore. "Lucknow is a big city. Lucknow Metro's Phase 1B has been approved with an investment of Rs 5,801 crore.
