BRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao suspended his own daughter K. Kavitha from the party

A big change has taken place in the politics of Telangana. Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC K Kavitha has been suspended from the party. Kavitha's father K Chandrasekhar Rao is the president of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). The decision to suspend Kavitha was taken by KCR himself. According to reports, Kavitha has been suspended from the party for anti-party activities.
The notice issued by the BRS states that anti-party activities are detrimental to the BRS party. The party leadership is seriously considering it. Party president K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to suspend K Kavitha from the party with immediate effect. Kavitha's recent comments and allegations against the main leaders of the party have been taken seriously. Addressing a press conference here yesterday, Kavitha alleged that KCR's nephew Harish Rao (former Finance Minister) and another nephews Santosh Kumar and Megha Krishna Rao were behind the rigging of the Kaleshwaram project. He dragged KCR's name into it. Kavitha has been suspended for crossing the party line. The Congress government in Telangana led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has decided to hand over the probe into the financial irregularities related to the Kaleshwaram barrage construction to the CBI. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the Justice PC Ghose Commission report has clearly pointed out that there were many errors and irregularities in the project. The report revealed that all the three barrages were constructed without any proper planning. He lamented that about one lakh crore rupees were wasted due to the Kaleshwaram project.
