Congress promises 400 units of free electricity to Delhi if voted to power

In Delhi, consumers consuming up to 200 units of electricity get free electricity and those consuming more than 200 units of electricity have to pay a charge of Rs 4.50 per unit up to 400 units. After this, a fee of Rs. 6.50 has to be paid for each unit. Consumers consuming more than 400 units of electricity are charged Rs 800 extra. So now the Congress has promised the people of Delhi before the Delhi Assembly elections that if the party wins the elections, it will give up to 400 units of free electricity to the people, that is, now not 200 but 400 units of free electricity has been promised.The Assembly elections in Delhi are due next year and the election fever is growing ahead of it. The BJP, the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress are planning a populist promise in which the Congress has followed Kejriwal. State Congress president Devendra Yadav on Tuesday announced free electricity up to 400 units, while other announcements are set to be made in the remaining days during the Nyay Yatra.The Congress is planning to take special care of the people of Delhi, including 400 units of free electricity, five times the amount of the central government's Ayushman Yojana and providing health insurance of Rs 25 lakh to every citizen of Delhi. Not only in the election promise, the Congress is also preparing a new framework for the pension scheme in Delhi. In this, the age limit fixed for pension will be changed and there will also be a proposal to increase the pension amount.
