On the appeal of Modi, the Delhi government has announced many big steps to save fuel. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that following the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a new scheme will be implemented to reduce the consumption of petrol and diesel in the capital.
The main decisions are as follows:

There will be a 20% reduction in petrol and diesel prices for government officials.
Every Monday will be celebrated as "Monday Metro," i. e. officials and employees will travel by metro.
58 buses will be run from government colonies to the metro station.
Schools and colleges have been asked to start online classes.
The Delhi government will not buy new petrol, diesel and EV vehicles for the next 6 months.
The campaign is part of the government's "My India, My Contribution" initiative. The Chief Minister says that the aim is not only to save fuel but also to reduce pollution and promote public transport.
