Haryana Assembly Election has been announced - Elections will be held in Haryana in a single phase on October 1.
The majority figure to form the government in Haryana is 46 seats. BJP was far away from majority in the 2019 assembly elections. Then the party had won 40 seats and Congress had won 31 seats. Jannayak Janta Party had won 10 seats and INLD had won 1 seat. Haryana Lokhit Party had won one seat. Whereas independents won the remaining seats. Earlier in the year 2014, BJP had formed the government by winning 47 seats.
STATE NEWS - The date of Haryana Assembly Election has been announced. Voting will be held in Jammu and Kashmir in 3 phases on 18 September, 25 September and 1 October. Voting will take place in Haryana on October 1 along with the third phase in Jammu and Kashmir. The results of both will come on October 4.
