Luxury car maker Lexus has launched the updated model of its premium SUV LX 500D in India. The Lexus LX 500d has been launched in two different variants. The first variant has been named Urban and the second variant has been named Overtail. Lexus had showcased this powerful SUV at the India Mobility Global Expo held in January this year Lexus is a subsidiary of Japanese automaker Toyota that makes luxury cars in the premium segment.

The Urban variant of the Lexus LX 500d has a starting price of Rs 3 crore. While the starting price of its Overtail variant has been set at Rs 3.12 crore. Before the update, the starting price of the Lexus LX 500d was Rs 2.83 crore. But after the update, its price has increased by Rs 17 lakh directly. While the Urban variant is designed for drives in specific cities, the Overtail variant is designed for adventures off-roading. Both variants of the Lexus LX 500d look almost identical from the outside. Both variants can be identified by the different grille, alloy and tyre parts.

The Lexus LX500d is powered by a 3.3 -litre V6 diesel engine. This powerful SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8 seconds It has a top speed of 210 kmph.
