NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan filed nomination for Vice Presidential election! Tough competition between CP Radhakrishnan and India Alliance candidate

NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan filed his nomination for the post of Vice President on Wednesday (August 20). Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and several Union ministers and chief ministers were present on the occasion. The important thing is that PM Modi also became his proposer. The All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) has named B Sudarshan Reddy as its candidate for the Vice-Presidential election. Interestingly, this time both the candidates are from South India. Before filing his nomination papers, Radhakrishnan visited the Prerana Sthal in the Parliament complex and paid tributes. Statues of eminent personalities are installed at Prerna Sthal. He first paid obeisance in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and then paid tributes to all the personalities. Radhakrishnan was born in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. He started his political career with the Bharatiya Jana Sangh in 1974. He is also associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Radhakrishnan is a two-time Lok Sabha MP from Coimbatore. He has also served as the Governor of Jharkhand and Telangana. He has done a lot to strengthen the BJP in South India.The opposition has fielded former Supreme Court judge B Sudershan Reddy as its candidate. The first reaction of B. Sudarshan Reddy after being nominated as a candidate by India Block has come out.
