The Supreme Court said that Shambhu border highways are not parking places

NEWS - A hearing was held in the Supreme Court today regarding the opening of Shambhu Border. During the hearing, the Supreme Court ordered partial opening of Shambhu border within a week. During the hearing, the Supreme Court said that highways are not parking places. Haryana government can open one lane of the highway for ambulances, school buses, emergency services and local people commuting.
This will make life easier. The Supreme Court asked DGP Punjab and DGP Haryana as well as the police chiefs of Ambala and Patiala districts to hold a meeting within a week. The court said that we keep the matter pending. Farmers should also not feel that they have been isolated and sidelined.
