Ambernath Fire Brigade officials said that they received information about gas leak late in the night, after which the fire brigade team reached the spot for relief work. It is being told that due to gas leak, there is darkness on the roads and people are leaving by covering their nose and mouth. It has become like smoke (hazy). A case of gas leakage has come to light from Nainital in Uttarakhand, due to which the health of many people deteriorated and they had to be admitted to the hospital. According to the information, there was a stir in the area due to leakage of chlorine gas from the cylinder kept in the Sukhatal Jal Sansthan pump house of Nainital on Thursday evening. The leakage was so terrible that within a few minutes the health of the people living nearby started deteriorating. People started vomiting, feeling dizzy and started fainting. As soon as the officials received the information, the administration came into action. Teams of police, administration, SDRF, NDRF, fire brigade and health department reached the spot.
