Why are cases of heart attack increasing in small children? Is study not a burden?

These two underlying heart diseases are most responsible for cardiac arrest in children. The first is hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, in which the heart muscles become thick and enlarged, causing difficulty in pumping the heart. And the second disease is Long QT Syndrome which is a rare heart rhythm disorder which affects the electrical system that controls the heart beat.

Why are cases of heart attack increasing in small children? Is study not a burden?

NEWS - Dr. Ashwini Mehta said that as it is being said that death occurred due to heart attack, in reality it is not a heart attack as it usually happens to people, but it is sudden cardiac death. Children suffer sudden cardiac arrest and die within 1 hour. This is different from a normal heart attack.
He further explains that this is not being seen for the first time in children, such cases have always been happening. Be it in a 7 year old child or it can also happen in children of 1 or younger age. These sudden deaths occur due to underlying heart diseases in children, which are usually not known to anyone. Even the parents do not know that the child has any heart related issue. The reason behind this is that their symptoms are also not very clear. Due to the family history of some people, this problem occurs in children, while due to some rare diseases, sudden cardiac death of children also occurs.
