Nitish Kumar remained incomplete even after becoming Chief Minister of Bihar! The BJP took all the lucrative ministries in exchange for the Chief Minister's post.

After the formation of the new government in Bihar, it has now been claimed that there will be a division of portfolios. On Thursday (November 20, 2025), 26 ministers were sworn in at Gandhi Maidan. Nitish Kumar took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar. Now an unofficial list of which minister has got which department in the government came out on Friday (November 21, 2025) in which it is claimed that Samrat Chaudhary has got the Home Department.
According to the list, Samrat Chaudhary will get the Home portfolio, Vijay Kumar Sinha the Land and Revenue, Mangal Pandey the Health and Law, and Dilip Jaiswal the Industries. Nitin Nabin has been given the road construction, urban development and housing departments, Ram Kripal Yadav the agriculture department, Sanjay Tiger the labour resources department, Arun Shankar Prasad the tourism department, art, culture and youth department, Surendra Mehta the animal and fisheries resources department. According to the list, Narayan Prasad has been given the Disaster Management Department, Rama Nishad the Backward Classes and Most Backward Classes Welfare Department, Lakhendra Paswan the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department, Shreyasi Singh the Information Technology and Sports Department, Pramod Chandravanshi the Cooperation Department, Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department. On the other hand, Ashok Choudhary has been claimed to go to Madan Sahni for rural work and social welfare. It is claimed that the finance and commercial tax departments will also remain with the JDU.
