Sources said that security forces are preparing for the final attack, while the army has fired several rocket launchers towards the spot where the terrorists are suspected to be hiding. He said that there has been no firing from the terrorists after the use of rocket launchers by the security forces. Officials said the Rashtriya Rifles unit personnel and civilians were moving towards Naagin Post in Porter Afrawat Range when the terrorists opened fire on two army trucks near Botapathri, about 6 km from Gulmarg. An official said that at around 7 am in the morning, terrorists opened fire on an army vehicle in Jogwan area, after which a massive search operation was launched. He said that during the operation, contact was established with the hiding terrorists. After which a fierce encounter took place. He said, "Now NSG commandos have also joined the security forces to assist in anti-terrorist operations."
