India is going to celebrate its 80th Independence Day on August 15 with full patriotic fervor. This time, the Independence Day celebrations at the historic Red Fort in Delhi will be special for the participation of the youth and the new generation. The government has made elaborate preparations to give prominence to 'Yuva Shakti "in the celebrations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation from the ramparts of Red Fort. The celebrations will highlight the country's achievements, young talent and technological advancements. India's growing strength in the field of nuclear technology, space and modern technology will also be seen in the program.

Free metro service from 4 a.m.
For the convenience of those invited to the Independence Day celebrations, the Delhi Metro service will be available free of cost from 4 am. Facilities like wheelchairs, cloakrooms, drinking water, toilets and raincoats will also be arranged at the venue along with volunteers.
Security of Red Fort impregnable, up to 20 thousand soldiers deployed
Security arrangements in Delhi have been put on high alert in view of Independence Day celebrations. A large number of Delhi Police and paramilitary personnel have been deployed in and around the Red Fort. Around 15,000 to 20,000 security personnel are expected to be deployed.
The Delhi Police will use the 'Abhigyan' app and facial recognition system to identify suspected and wanted people in the crowd. Security agencies will keep a close watch on the movement of people in and around the Red Fort.
Drone and kite flying banned
Flying of all types of small aerial platforms, including drones, has been banned in Delhi from August 2 to August 16 due to security reasons. Kite flying will also be prohibited in and around the Red Fort.
The Delhi Police has issued this order under Section 163 of the BNSS, which will be effective till August 16.
This time Independence Day will not be limited to the celebration of independence, but from the Red Fort, India's youth power, technological capability and the picture of a changing India will also be in front of the world.
