Nitin Nabin, the new national working president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has taken charge at the Delhi headquarters on Monday (December 15, 2025). Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP president JP Nadda were also present. He recently came to Delhi from Patna.

For the BJP, the post of president is very important. Especially in view of the assembly elections in West Bengal next year and then Uttar Pradesh in 2027, this responsibility is going to be huge.
There has never been a presidential election in the BJP.
