"We are sorry but we are not responsible," says mother-in-law on son-in-law Atul Subhash's suicide
"Atul used to tell me that the court where his case is going on is not run by the law of the country. He must have gone to Jaunpur from Bengaluru at least 40 times. So many sections were imposed on him. When one case was closed, another was filed. He used to be very depressed by this, but he never let us feel it. The allegations made by my son are 100 per cent true. He had a big impact. My wife lived with my son for four months. During this time, seeing the stress of the son there, his diabetes increased. We can't explain how tense our boy was.
Nisha Singhania, mother of Nikita Singhania, wife of Atul Subhash, said, "Atul has made baseless allegations. He has withdrawn his resignation. My daughter never instigated anyone to commit suicide.Meanwhile, Atul Subhash's family reached Patna on Thursday. When the media questioned Atul's mother about his suicide, she became speechless. When she regained consciousness, she said, "My child is very tortured. We have no expectations from the legal system.Nisha Singhania said, "We are saddened by his death. But we are not to blame. My daughter and my family are not responsible for what happened. We will come to you (media) with evidence very soon. This will prove that we have not committed any wrong.Nikita's brother-in-law Sushil Kumar said, "My name is also mentioned in the FIR. We came to know about this through the media. The case was in court. Our family is not at fault. We live in another house. The allegations made by Subhash are baseless. When Nikita comes, she will answer everything.
