A war has broken out over seat sharing in Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) in Maharashtra. Sources said that Uddhav Thackeray is angry with Congress over seat sharing and is also working on Plan B. Uddhav Thackeray's party Shiv Sena (UBT) is preparing for all 288 seats. That means, if seat sharing in MVA does not happen, Thackeray can contest the elections on his own strength. In such a situation, the question arises that if Uddhav Thackeray moves away from Congress, will he go with BJP? Meanwhile, Congress sources say that the party will not bow down to Uddhav Thackeray's pressure on seat sharing. Sources said that Uddhav Thackeray's statements on Sunday (October 20) had given an indication of his steps. Sources said that Devendra Fadnavis had recently met Uddhav Thackeray. Sanjay Raut also met Amit Shah. However, it is not clear what issues were discussed. Congress sources said that there will be a delay in seat allotment considering the way Shiv Sena (UBT) is adopting pressure tactics. Congress party leaders told the party leaders of Maharashtra that Shiv Sena is asking for such seats where Muslim voters are in large numbers and where Congress candidates can get 100 percent elected.
